Anatoly (A.G.) Postolov was born in Lviv, Ukraine, and emigrated to the United States in 1979. He lives in Los Angeles and is the author of four Russian-language novels blending speculative and dystopian themes. His novel The Year of May Beetles received the Golden Pen literary award. Robot Macnamara is his first novel written for the English-language audience.
